As always, our Audi dealers near Manchester, NH have something to say about the innovation and general relevancy of our brand in today’s market. We think you’ll be interested to hear one bit of information that is particularly telling of the Audi brand’s desire for inclusivity with an all-female driver team.

In late January, the new Audi R8 LMS GT4 debuted in Daytona, and with a team like no other. The Audi newsroom was proud to report this as the first all-female team to compete in GS class and first all-female team to compete in motorsports since 2014. Ashley Freiberg and Gosia Rdest (of the USA and Poland, respectively) make up the team driving the new Audi R8 in all categories for Audi Sport customer racing – GT3, GT4, and TCR.

The two teammates couldn’t be more thrilled to represent the women in their field this way. “Women are few and far between in motorsports, so the opportunity to join an all-women team with Audi is really exciting. My gender doesn’t make a difference when I’m behind the wheel. I still have to do a good job, and drive the car hard; the data and lap times don’t lie,” said Ashley Freiberg.

“I feel very privileged and honored to drive progress for women in motorsports. I have always thought that it’s not the gender, but the passion, endurance and hard work that are the mainstay of any winner,” said driver Gosia Rdest.

The Audi R8 is available now at our Nashua Audi dealership. This vehicle is sharp, powerful, and something you can really show off to all your friends – male and female!
